Case Study: Complete Redesign of Tipti's Website
Project Overview
Tipti is a home delivery platform that offers a fast and convenient shopping experience, allowing users to invest their time in what they enjoy most while receiving their favorite products from trusted supermarkets. With hundreds of items available and a range of promotions, Tipti makes accessing the best deals easy without the need to visit the supermarket. This redesign project aimed to update the platform from scratch to improve user experience, optimize navigation, and strengthen customer loyalty.

The challenge
Tipti's original site had opportunities for improvement in terms of accessibility, clarity of information, and simplicity of the shopping flow. Many users reported difficulty navigating between product categories or finding active promotions, limiting the overall experience and effectiveness of the site. The redesign proposal addressed these issues to make Tipti an even more intuitive and attractive platform where users can shop quickly and take full advantage of Tipti Prime’s benefits.
Problem:
Confusing navigation and limited visibility of promotions and offers impacted the shopping experience, preventing users from fully enjoying Tipti’s benefits.

An optimized design, with a clear, accessible, and user-centered interface, that enhances the visibility of promotions and simplifies product search and selection.

Design Process
User Research:
We conducted surveys and interviews with current users to understand their needs and areas of frustration. From the findings, we created user personas reflecting the different profiles using the platform: frequent users, occasional shoppers, and Tipti Prime members.
Information Architecture Planning:
We reorganized the sections and simplified the hierarchy of product categories to provide a smoother shopping flow.
Visual Design:
We opted for a modern and accessible aesthetic, with a fresh and friendly color palette that conveys trust. Visual elements guide the user and highlight promotions, categories, and featured products. The typography and icons were chosen to maximize readability and provide a consistent experience across both mobile and desktop devices.
Prototype Development:
We created a high-fidelity prototype that was tested with users to ensure the new shopping flow and interface met their expectations for speed and ease of use.
Results and conclusion
The complete redesign of Tipti resulted in a more intuitive and efficient platform, with an enhanced user experience that simplifies product purchasing and promotion navigation. User feedback was positive, highlighting ease of access to deals, the organization of categories, and site clarity. With this new design, Tipti is better positioned to become the preferred shopping partner for users in Ecuador, combining convenience, savings, and quality in every shopping experience.
